My Lounge

Hi Bob,

Thanks for noticing!

Amy and I have hit a rough patch of illnesses and time demands for our families.

We haven't forgotten the Lounge, but we've been sitting back to watch how the running community is doing without our customary active involvement.  It's still doing very well.

How is your own running and life going for you?

Bob, thank you so much for your detailed response!!!  if you ever comment on the blog, if it's one of the last 2 posts i will definitely see it.  but runners' lounge is also a guaranteed connect, i'm also notified by email.  i really appreciate the outline and i like the idea of 3 weeks and a 4th low intensity week.  i'm training for my first marathon and there is a step back week every third week.  i want to improve my 5k and 10k times in addition to building up mileage for my first marathon!  so i think speed 3/4 weeks would be my best bet.  thank you! have a great day :)

Hi Bob,

Can you send me your address so we can arrange for you to receive your
Sport Wash.  Also, I have spots for just a few more who would like to
try Sport Wash.  Can you recommend any Loungers who might appreciate it?

Send to tom@runnerslounge.com

Thanks.

Hi Bob!

Just read your advice on the Giveaway forum thread.

I sing out loud. The longer the miles the more I give permission to myself to sing anything I want.

Those poor souls around me on the trail at the tail end of a long run.

Hope all is going well!

Bob,

Reading your blog - I now have a goal - still be running at 88. Maybe not win anything - but still be running. And that widget (PictureTrail) is so cool!

If you know any other clergy on this site invite them to our group. I would eventually like to share running and discipleship stories.

I am looking for a good pic for our group. If you know of or run across a preacher running let me know. If you have access to photoshop let me know too and we can make a pic.

I read that you were born again, tell me a little about that. I hope your winter training is going well.

Bob,
I have realized over the years that Jesus gave me the ability to do EVERYTHING I do in my life, that includes running. I have been so blessed for all that I have in my life. So I am making sure that in all that I do Christ needs to be the FOCUS of Everything!
