Hi Laurel. I haven't forgotten to get you pics of our garden--weather, sun, and schedule hasn't been right. Coming soon.

Just wanted to restate how much I enjoy your blog. You've always got it decked out looking cool.

Have 9 on Saturday and 19 on Sunday. REally looking forward to it, except it's out of town and have to find my course.

Hi Laurel! Yes, I am in Toronto. The photographer got an amazing shot with Sam the Record Man as the background! Hope you had a great long weekend if you were off today. I think i now need to cancel out of the 30k race, as I had a cycling spill this weekend, needed stitches on my calf, so not sure how running will be in the next few weeks :( but I will be running the 1/2 at Scotiabank, it would be great to put a face to a name!!! happy training :)

What a great interview!

Thanks for taking us all to your garden, running courses, and for discussing your dreams.

You do have a contagious enthusiasm for running and your living. More of us would be better off if the doctor prescribed, "Read three posts by Laurel and call me in the morning."

I demand--okay kindly request--more pics of your garden. I'm getting heavily into lilies too, plus hostas, coleus, and roses. I'll send you some pic of our garden.

You're an inspiration to us!

I am so glad you like it! You know, we pack a little extra bit of running luck in each bracelet. :}

We are enjoying watching the Lounge grow. It is so nice to meet so many runners. If you ever have any ideas on how to get the word out or how to make the Lounge better - please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hi Lily. Thanks for your concern. Much of the flooding has passed. But we've had 4 inches of rain in the past few days, so who knows if we're out of the woods.

Now the mosquitoes are forming gangs and attacking.

Have started my marathon training and am feeling good, maybe even shedding a few pounds.

How's your running? What's ahead for racing?

Thanks for thinking of us during these watery times. For weeks the rain didn't stop. Basement had 5 inches, but it was all rain, not river water or the even nastier stuff.

I feel like I'm getting my running groove back. Consistency makes a big difference.

How is your running treating you?

I'm so excited for you about your marathon tomorrow. Please know that I'll be thinking about all through your race.

Hi Laurel. You're so good about checking in with me.

We are enjoying only slightly better weather than winter. Way too cold, windy, and wet. We really haven't had spring. I'm a hard core gardener and I haven't so much as cleaned out the debris from winter. Oh well, I guess it's appropriate, because I'm also still carrying around the winter weight I gained. Wish it would come off before I put on a short sleeve shirt.

Amy and are excited about your Marathon. I'm guessing this weekend is your last long run and then you begin your taper.

We're following your progress. Hang it there. It will be marathon day very soon.
