I feel I owe you thanks again! I have consistently been doing 120 pushups. Not at one time - but it was your tip to start with two sets of 10 and then hit it that has helped me out.

Steve,

Congrats on the giveaway of Dean's book. I think you made 5 very happy people. I saw that you in a post a few days ago you were going to post a review. When you do, would you mind adding a link to your review to "50/50" book listing in the Running Resources book section? (http://www.runnerslounge.com/resources/media/index.cfm?action=Media&MediaID=c6019808-6a5a-4c0b-af1d-898db8fdc107&page=0&Media=50/50&type=)

Thanks!

I was reading your post today and saw that and forgot to include a way big, "CONGRATS!" to you in my note.

You are the man!

I think you should have people send pics of their arms before and after - I can see a difference already. Wish I would have started it before swimsuit season. :}

Hi Steve,

There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of you now as I grunt through my pushups. Who knew I loved pushups!?!

I am not consistent to the plan, but am consistent of at least getting three sets of at least 25 pushups per day. Today, I hit the magic 85 number - 100 is finally within reach.

So glad you did what you did!

Steve,

Thanks for taking time for Open Mic Friday! I wish we had the luxury of doing it over coffee or a beer versus virtually - someday I hope we meet. You have a fabulous story!

Steve,

I noticed your name on the Push up site - are you a contributor/author?

Also - was curious if you would be interested in being our interview for Open Mic Friday for Friday the 27th?

Thanks for adding the tip about the pushups and links to your quotes! Very interesting!

Thanks, Steve! Great job yourself. I might have gotten to set a record and win a race, but in terms of "points" you came home with a lot more than I did...not that I would trade. Heheh.

Steve, I just saw your time at Frederick. You crushed!!! Great job!
3rd place overall. Fantastic!!! Must be the Hammer products!

Here's an update. I tied my PR at the Frederick half marathon. I'm kind of mad at myself that I couldn't find 2 or 3 seconds somewhere on the course to get a new PR. Still, I'm pretty happy with the results.
