Just a quick note to let you know Living History Farms race registration is open. It is capped at 7500 this year, so don't delay - sign up today. :}

If you could come, feel free to join the "Runners' Lounge" team for fun!

Thanks for the note and information! He gets a little stronger everyday! Although I just realized that is the same day as Bix - so I may have to drive home in a hurry to make it in time for church and the race.

The course is decent. The first half mile is a little uphill, then downhill for the next quarter mile. Then the course stays on the WDM bike path for the next couple miles, which is pretty flat. A couple blocks of uphill, then downhill to finish.

The race is pretty low key and so would be a good first race for an 8-year old.

Hi Paul,

Sorry I missed your message - I didn't see it on your profile. I did run the 20K - wasn't my best - but happy to finish!

I was looking through 5K races today, looking for my son's first 5K race and saw your name next to the Taste of Hope 5K. Do you know how easy/tough the 5K course will be? He is 8, coming back after foot surgery, and looking to try his first 5K and I don't want to make it too hard.

I am running the D2D 5K. How about you?

Hi Paul - will we see you at Dam to Dam tomorrow?
Tom - 4/23/2008 11:07 PM
Hi Paul. No, I won't be running the Drake Half. I'm still trying to shed winter pounds. I'll be in the stadium though. If you're running, good luck and have fun. I'll look for you at the start and finish lines!

Do you mean New Orleans? That is coming up next weekend. Or, did you mean Red Flannel? But I didn't run that one either.

How was your race this weekend?
Tom - 11/16/2007 11:05 PM
Paul, I'm not involved with Loop The Lake; just Capital Pursuit--and looking for some team members to help organize it. We're probably in the same boat.
