Thank you for taking the time to submit your story to our original request.  You have a great story to tell!

I have added your story to the Inspiration and Stories section.  Here is a link:  http://www.runnerslounge.com/awards/index.cfm?id=8&StoryID=7f7177d6-2758-41ec-8db9-911f17e9eb95

I hope you will consider submitting your story to HCI for consideration in the Ultimate Runner.

Bill, hope your running is going well. I was wondering if you have a "typical" running week, like run 6 miles Monday, 8 miles Tuesday, etc., etc.

Thanks!

Bill,

Just a quick note to let you know that this week is "Boston and Beyond" week in the Lounge. I know that is one of your goals and wanted to let you know that our Take It and run Thursday topic is "secrets to qualify for boston".  I hope you have a chance to contribute what you have done.

Bill,

Thank you so much for your kind words!  We have not connected half as much as I would like to over the past several months.

I do "peek in" every once in awhile....glad to see you are doing well.

Thank you again for your never ending encouragement!

Your friend in running,

Laurel (aka Lily)

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the note!  It has been busy here.  Too busy.  Work, kids, blah, blah.

But I have been enjoying this fall (feels like winter) running.

And you?

Hi Bill! Thanks for the welcome. I too, was there for the 2008 Boston Marathon! My time wasn't the blistering pace you set though ... mine was 3:32 which I was tickled pink with. I'm qualified for 2009! (Now I just have to show up... not sure yet, but I really do want to go)

Congrats on your multiple marathons... that's great!

Yep, thinking about someone's cornea does sounds weird ... unless they are an optomitrist...and then it is very nice. I did pass your note along to Nancy.

I told Nat (RunNat from Canada) to swing down and pick you up - it would be one long road trip. :}

Someday...

Just in case all the planets would align and you find yourself stranded in Iowa on November 22...

Just a quick note to let you know Living History Farms race registration is open. It is capped at 7500 this year, so don't delay - sign up today. :}

If you could come, feel free to join the "Runners' Lounge" team for fun!
